Château Castera is a red wine produced in the AOC Médoc, in the Bordeaux vineyards and currently classified as Cru Bourgeois Supérieur du Médoc.
Château Castera is mainly made from traditional Bordeaux grape varieties: Merlot (65%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (25%). The blend is completed by a small proportion of Cabernet Franc (5%) and Petit Verdot (5%), which gives the wine its aromatic complexity and structure. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for a period of 12 months.
